Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper. Place ribs in the heated pan and sear on all sides until golden brown.
Remove ribs from the pan and place into the Crock Pot.
In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together all remaining ingredients. This mixture will create a sauce to pour over the ribs in the Crock Pot.

Making sure to evenly cover the ribs, the sauce mixture will provide plenty of liquid throughout the cooking process.
Place the lid on the slow cooker and let the magic happen. Cook on low for 5-7 hours or high for 2 1/2 – 3 1/2 hours.

The preferred timing for tender, fall off the bone ribs is the low setting. Country style ribs tend to do best when you allow time for the connective tissues to break down in the low and slow process of the Crock Pot.
As the ribs finish cooking and are on the verge of falling off the bone, remove and place on a serving platter.
Scoop sauce mixture from the bottom of the slow cooker and drizzle over top of ribs.
How long to cook country style ribs in a crock pot
The steadfast rule for ribs in the Crock Pot is cooking low and slow.
When using the low setting allow for 5 hours of cooking time all the way up to 7 hours. Depending on the amount of ribs you are cooking and the size of the slow cooker will vary the total amount of time needed.
Should ribs be covered in liquid in a slow cooker?
The sauce mixture created in this recipe provides a sufficient amount of moisture.
Additional liquids aren’t needed in the low and slow cooking process. Country Style ribs have connective tissues that will break down providing added moisture.
Are ribs better in the oven or crock pot?
This question definitely comes down to personal preference.
The argument in favor of the Crock Pot is simple; small amount of prep time and you can walk away.
Oven ribs are tasty as well, but require a more watchful eye and the warm oven will heat up the overall temperature of your kitchen.
Should you flip ribs in a slow cooker?
Heat is evenly distributed in a slow cooker and thus the ribs do not need flipping during the cooking process.
How do you keep boneless ribs from drying out in a crock pot?
Boneless ribs will require less cook time when comparing them to bone-in ribs.
Reducing the amount of cooking time and using the high temperature will both be of assistance in creating the perfectly juicy ribs.
