How to cook pork tenderloin with cranberry sauce
Place pork tenderloin in slow cooker.
In a large bowl, whisk together all remaining ingredients.
Gently pour the cranberry sauce mixture into the slow cooker.
Cover the top of the tenderloin, and lift the tenderloin to allow the sauce to seep to the underside of the pork.
Close the slow cooker lid and cook on high for 2 hours or on low for approximately 4 hours.
Depending on the size of the tenderloin, the cooking duration will vary.
You must check the internal temperature of the tenderloin.
While still in the slow cooker place a digital meat thermometer in the center of the tenderloin to ensure that the internal temperature has reached 145 degrees F.
Remove tenderloin from the slow cooker and place it on the cutting board. Let rest for 3-5 minutes before slicing.
Scoop the remaining sauce from the slow cooker and drizzle juice over the sliced loin.
How long to cook pork tenderloin in the slow cooker?
If the slow cooker is on the high setting, cook time will be approximately 2 hours.
On the low setting cooking duration may last 4 to 4 1/2 hours.
The most important factor is the internal meat temperature, which reached 145 degrees when tested using a digital meat thermometer.
We suggest using the low setting to allow the cranberry flavor to encompass the tenderloin over time.
