Ingredients
- Cubed pork steaks
- Onion soup mix
- Cream of mushroom soup
- Beef broth
- Water
- Mushroom slices: Optional
- Salt and Pepper
- Parsley : For optional garnish

Recipe Tips
- Not a huge fan of mushrooms? Omit the mushroom slices
- Use a larger sized Crock Pot to help spread out the cubed steaks for even cooking.
How to cook cubed pork steaks
Gather a medium sized bowl and all ingredients.
Measure out onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, water, salt and pepper and place into the bowl. Whisk until the mix thoroughly creating a sauce.

Pour half of the sauce, that you just whisked together, into a large Crock Pot. Next, layer the pork cubed steaks on top of the sauce and top with mushroom slices.
Finally, cover the cube steaks with the remaining sauce mixture and place the lid on the slow cooker.
Cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.

Approximately an hour before you plan to serve, you can complete the gravy thickening.
To enjoy a creamy thick gravy, mix 1-2 tablespoons of cornstarch with 3 tablespoons of the liquid from the Crock Pot to create a slurry.
Slowly add the slurry into the liquid surrounding the pork in the slow cooker.

Complete the meal with a warm buttery dinner roll and green beans. A side pile of fluffy mashed potatoes covered in the rich creamy gravy also makes a wonderful addition to the dinner plate.

Pork Cube Steak in the Crock Pot
Equipment
- Crock Pot
Ingredients
- 1 ½ lbs. pork cube steak about 6 pieces
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup (10. 5 oz. cans)
- 1 ½ cup beef broth
- ¼ cup water
- ¼ teaspoon pepper to taste
- ½ teaspoon salt to taste
- 6 oz. can mushroom slices optional
- Parsley for garnish (optional)
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
- In medium bowl, whisk together onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, water, salt, and pepper.
- Pour half of the sauce mix into the crockpot.
- Place the cube steaks on top of the sauce mix and top with mushroom, if desired.
- Pour the remaining half of the sauce mix on top of the cube steaks and cover crock pot with lid.
- Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- For a thicker “gravy”, mix 2 tablespoons of cornstarch with 2-3 tablespoons of liquid from the crockpot.
- Add this thickening paste to the crockpot about one hour before the end of the cooking process.
